Dark Winds

With today's fractured media, it's hard to find a series that you can "get into."

However, when I discovered Robert Redford and George R. R. Martin were executive producers of a show based on Tony Hillerman’s iconic book series, I couldn’t resist. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is on my untouchable film list as well as Game Of Thrones (book and series). Redford and Martin even have a cameo. I believe it was Mr. Redford’s last role. RIP.

I'm still working my way through the series before the new season (yes, I'm late to the party, again), but I have to say this show is fantastic and just keeps better as it goes—the talent on and off the screen really hits. I remember when the book series was displayed on every store bookshelf and wish the team future success bringing Mr. Hillerman’s world to the screen.

Now I'm currently searching for first editions for my shelf.

Highly Recommend.
